New Posts Norfolk
Norfolk sits on the water, near Virginia beach. It is 93 miles from Richmond, Virginia and across the water from Hamptom. Being that it is a city with a high population rate, it is considered to be a red zone. It was a very hustle and bustle type of city before the apocalypse and now sits quiet aside from the constant groans of walkers. It is also known for its Navy roots.

New Posts Operation New Dawn Basecamp
Operation New Dawn’s home base takes the form of a collection of 11 vessels in the 20-30 metre length size range lashed together tightly with thick wooden planks acting as bridges between. Most of the vessels are old civilian fishing trawlers with their squat shapes and broad decks but there are 3 sleek yachts towards the centre surrounding a large wooden raft that acts almost like a communal area for the members of the colony.

Most of the fishing vessels have been stripped out and gutted, their interiors replaced with small dormitories and storage spaces for the occupants while the 3 yachts have been left in practically the same layout as they were found in acting as the offices and homes of OND’s leadership. One of the 8 trawlers has been set aside to act as a utility vessel with an armory beneath the deck along with a storage area while upon the deck they have created a sheltered kitchen and laundry room.

New Posts Richmond
Being the capital of Virginia, Richmond was a highly populated city and still is. With walkers. Richmond has many historical sites like John Marshal’s house, Ashland Railroad station, and Beaver Dam Creek Battlefield from the Civil War Era. There are many city buildings that can be holding crowds of walkers, let alone on the city streets.

New Posts Roanoke
Known as the Gate city of the south, Roanoke is a mix of city, green fields and mountains. The higher you go, the less likely you will be able to get chased down by walkers. Only issue is, you have to come down for food. Water runs through parts of mountains in as creeks or springs. The town is not as massive as Richmond, but still was highly populated for its areas.

New Posts Charlottesville
Charlottesville is 73.6 miles from Richmond. It is also known for its culture and architecture that litters the entire town. From the city hall to the Robert E. Lee statue. It is a mix between land and a small town, thus, not too populated. Doesn't mean there aren't walkers in the area so watch out. They could be hiding in the smallest of corners.

New Posts Arlington
Arlington is 104 miles from Richmond. With a prior human population of 300,000, it was home to a well amount of people and families. This town is considered a red zoned area and not one you can walk about with ease on the streets. It is not highly surrounded by water, 0.1 square miles exactly, and supplies aren't easy to come by from the population of walkers.

New Posts Alexandria
Originally an upscale planned community, it was turned into a safe-zone established by the military in the early days of the outbreak. The survivors here were told to wait for the military's return and when they never came, they used the supplies to build a new community.
